Independantly owned with a great sense of community the Angel is a "real pub." Friendly people bring a great atmosphere. We can also honestly boast the best beer garden in Durham!
We have live music every week along with open mic nights, a very popular music quiz on a wednesday nights. We televise all Sky and Setanta football games. The bar serves cask ales, cocktails and pitchers and regularily runs promotions.
The Angel has a great reputation as being an alternative/rock pub for 30 years which is reflected by the great Jukebox.
